ZOOM CYMRU has been invited to YEFF! Summer School.

Yeff! is a European network bringing together young film-makers with professional practitioners. The Young European Film Forum (YEFF) meets every two years in a different European City.

This year the event is in Milan and young people from all over Europe will come to show their films, visit workshops, participate in debates and work together with professional film makers to shoot and edit their own films.

Sightseeing, parties, activities and film screenings form an important part of the programme.

Transport and accommodation is paid for by Zoom and Yeff. Attendance is by application only and is open to any young people over 18 who have made a film.

ZOOM CYMRU

We are a registered charity working with young people in the South Wales Valleys since 2006. We are the organisers of the International Young People’s Film Festival of Wales, which includes the Zoom Young Film-maker Awards.

We engage with over 2,000 young people each year through festivals and media training projects. Through our partnerships with media professionals, we are uniquely placed to deliver training and education in the media in Wales.

We provide a year round film and media training programme, with a portfolio of workshops that we deliver throughout Wales, and also work with young people to produce films.

As well as a board of trustees, we have a steering group of young people called the Zoom Film Council.
